Not sure why anyone would stump up $2m (638,000 shares x $3.24) when they could buy 638,000 shares now (well give it a few days) at $1.05 to say $1.20 (very generous levels over past 6 weeks)... It makes zero economic sense, so there is obviously something we are missing / not getting.
Please remember that when you exercise an option, you pay the notional value of shares x strike price.....
