This is nothing new for them, taking their sweet time doing nothing at all, if this surprises or bothers you, then you must be very new.
Only comfort I can give you is that when these jackasses eventually pull their fingers out and pop a hole in there, we won't be disappointed with what we find, till that moment though we wait and wait.
