I think we are ALL aware of the negatives the industry of ALL mining of materials is subject to when it comes to the more developing nations.

But forgetting about the obvious negatives surrounding child labour sourced materials etc......, For the rest of the argument anyway , I think its pretty much covered in the whole effort towards the strict meaning and interpretation of ' NET ZERO ' carbon emissions or output.

And I guess the mere fact that we will eventually be breathing in ' LESS ' of the bad stuff is ' net ' better for the health of both the human race and the environment. And probably a lot more ' Sustainable ' into the future ....which is what we are talking about here really. A more sustainable ' Closed Loop ' ecosystem.

And we have to start somewhere . So transportation and electrification distribution and storage seems a very good point to start I would reckon.

Even in future space travels , there will be a need for this divergence of technologies. So best we keep working on ithey .......
