Hi All. I have just become aware of an online petition to ban the practice of short selling.
Some of you may already know about this petition but for those who don't I thought that I would bring
it to your attention as I am sure most would agree that it is an unethical practice to say the least.
Australian Stock Report are organising this petition and they are hoping for a minimum of 50,000 signatures.
It is relatively easy to gain access to the petition. Just google ( petition to ban short selling on the ASX)
The sooner that something is done to stop short trading the better. One of our regular posters @ Darkside has
recently sent ASIC a submission asking for a ban and signing this petition would be great support for his effort.
