A look at what announcements or lack thereof around the time as the Short Volume began increasing in Feb paints a clearer picture if you take your rose colored glasses off:

- Steve + Stu selling on Market
- MoU's with A Trading House + Ford at "Market Rates" & not a Magical "Premium Price"
- Indication that Drilling + Hydro work delayed i.e DFS pushed back 6 months
- Pilot Plant to site delays
- Lilac Key Partners walking away and pursuing other DLE tech

Yet the SP ballooned to nearly $3B (Mostly from Retail) and made the ASX200. It was one of the easiest shorts in memory
