I did just that with RRL spp last month.
IMO, I don't think we'll need to wait 2 months... 3M / OBJ would have agreed on a term that would ensure they had enough time, thus avoid any further extentions (that would really shake the tree). My guess is they wanted another month + some time to consolidate and report.
