Suncorp might be a nice little add, don't mind it although I'd prefer a skipped dividend or 2 than a Capital Raising but the M&A fraternity will seemingly get their free feed as is usually the case.
The proposal to buy MYOB is an absurd indulgence, if they're raising for that and provide a get out of jail card for KKR it's even worse than MySpace, Dick Smith, Myer, Klarna and the rest. The worst possible acquisition that has zero chance of adding incremental value for ANZ shareholders imho.
Simply a bad joke at our expense.
