The rail tracks through Maitland has reopened.
While as expected, coal trains are the dominant commodity being moved after a closure that lasted about 12 days - not ideal - there's a Pacific National grain train south of Quirindi, bound for Carrington at the Port of Newcastle NSW. Highly likely to be carrying GNC-handled grain.
