I’ve been moving my banking to banks that actually have a branch staffed with people that u can interact with…that excludes internet cubicle branches dotted around in some suburbs.
With scammers being so sophisticated that banks and even solicitor’s being duped, why sell to a company that has a reputation for branch closures
Actually, I would be warning posters to be very cautious moving monies from one bank to another via the Internet.
Its a pity that bank cheques are disappearing as they would be more secure than transferring monies via the Internet.
I used to move monies via normal cheque when changing banks
As a reminder to those having faith in antivirus and malware software, these are similar in behaviour to a lagging indicator.
In many cases someone needs to be conned and lose money before remedial software becomes available….this could one off the posters reading this post.
As one of 159,105 individual shareholders who hold less than 10,000 shares, will our wishes be listened too or will they be dictated by 129 shareholders who hold 71.79% of the shares.
Recall this is supposedly a public company but its voting system is based on a behaviour that u would expect in a private company.
One vote per shareholder was replaced to counter activism’s with the introduction of poll voting!
But activists have become wealthy and now have gained greater dictatorial control over the direction a company invests in.
As an example, Grok Ventures which I believe has only 2 shareholders, has over 11% shareholding’s in AGL and maybe able to dictate to 144,000 shareholders in what direction the company is heading.
I think the corporation act need to be amended, favouring one vote per shareholder!
