The more I look into this emerging company, the more exciting it becomes. I must stress that everything I include in my posts has formed part of ASX announcements by the company. Anything that is not part of an announcement is opinion on my behalf, formulated on knowledge gleaned over several decades in the market.
Credit Suisse recently held an ESG forum. On the panel at the forum were three companies (all at the invitation of CS), two were listed …ZEOTECH and CALIX (ASX:CXL).
Open the CALIX web site and you will read this statement: “Calix’stechnology is being piloted with the worlds largest cement and lime companiesto mitigate their carbon dioxide (CO2) emission dramatically without significant energy orcapital penalty.
That statement took me back to a ZEO ASX announcement on 31/5… ”The Trailblazer project will accelerate the commercialisation ofZeotech’s proprietary cleantech innovation for lithium by- product incollaboration with project partners UQ and Covalent. (Covalent isthe JV betweenWesfarmers and SQM Chile.) Further...”TheTrailblazer grant program provides Federal Government funding to………..drivecommercialisation outcomes with industry partners.”
So..both companies are partnering with global companies with their technology, both companies are benefiting from Federal Govt funding to assist with the commercialisation of their tech. UQ is producing manufactured zeolite, using ZEOs technology, which is then being used by Griffith University in CO2 and nitrous oxide mitigation in ag fertiliser delivery, and waste dump methane mitigation.
The lightbulb moment came for Calix in Jan 21 with the Cemex deal….the stock was ~$1 and went to $9…..$1.2billion mkt cap.
ZEO at 4.5c is ~$67million mkt cap……similar CO2, GHG space, proprietary tech, Fed Govt $ assistance, global partners……any one of its ‘verticals’ can transform ZEO into a Billion dollar company.
