The proposed program at Mangaroon did seem to be Money; Yin (wide spaced), C1-5 (?6) and then back to infill any interesting zones in the ironstones before sending the rig up to Yampi.
Drill programs tend to be organic and get modified by results, weather, budget and how DT gets out of bed. LOL on the latter.
Money results were positive enough to modify the program at Booka without altering the time table for the rig.
The first line of holes at Yin really put the cat amongst the pigeons. Arguably the best zone of 'ironstone' drilled to date by anyone in the area. One line does not make a mine so they have stepped out 100m to the N and South of the first line pretty much as planned perhaps though 200m was mentioned.
The southern line (A) may not have yielded as encouraging results as the original traverse.
Apart from lines A and B above the drilling proceeded on 200m step outs to the north while concurrent site preparation was undertaken on all but the Y5 ironstone proposed sites. Permits of Work limit the flexibility of programs so DRE factored in the 100m spaced lines from the get go at Yin if results warranted infill.
For the last couple of weeks the Rig has been infilling between 200m spaced lines - interpreted but probably real. I doubt this would have happened if results were poor to average. Could be other reasons though Occam's razor would be : good results.
Why no site prep on "Carbonatites"?
Puzzling if they might be the treasure pot. Some arm waving speculations as I doubt DT would be forthcoming about programs in progress.
If they are then the logistics involved in drilling them out is huge. Multiple rigs and lots of time while the ironstones sit untested.
The budget and program for 2022 has progressed well through Illaara and into Mangaroon However, success, if that is what it is, with the ironstones at Yin may have caused plans to be changed within a budget.
It happened at Money where one of the planned holes into an EM target wasn't drilled but others were added.
Has the infill at Yin come at the cost of some or all of the holes at C1-5?
DT did mention sending a Diamond Rig to Mangaroon. I keep an eye out for site preparation that is larger than a normal RC pads. Nothing yet.
