I've done plenty of research on nuclear power. Especially for Australia.
My views are backed up those of the CSIRO and all the industry experts.
I clicked on the video and as soon as I saw that failed lying pretend journalist from channel whack job, I turned it off.
To save me the hour of watching it, post a quick summary of the Australian supporters and their reasoning.
Then , answer a few quick questions.
1. How long will it take to get the legislation changed ? Especially as the feds are dead against it.
2. After that long process, how long will it take to establish a nuclear support industry ? How much will that cost ?
3. After spending a huge amount of money and wasting years if not decades, how long will it take to build one nuclear power station ?
4. How much will that power station cost ?
5. How will that power station not go broke trying to compete against much cheaper renewables and storage ?
6. In the decades that we wait for nuclear power, we will have to build new coal as our existing fleet is at the end of it's life . What do we do about the 20 years of extra emissions ? What do the environmentalists say about that ?
7. Which city or state in Australia will host a nuclear power station ?
8, Where will the cooling water come from for that power station ?
9. What will we do with the waste ?
10. Who will pay for the security of the waste storage for a couple of thousand years ?
Seeing as you reckon you know what you're talking about and you've watched that old load of toss, you should be able to answer those questions easily.
