The 'outstanding' question is will they also be selling 'gas' as they suggested sometime back.?imo the energy business model requires selling both.
Re selling electricity is the easy part,reselling gas not so easy and the next outstanding question is when is tls going to do something innovative.?
Rolling out 5g is not innovative its just rollout the technology .
Example .yawn again regarding tls not getting involved in real profitable growth sectors,i wont mention space again but imo it stands out like dog balls as being an obvious sector for tls to expand into,so many opportunities..
Lets say imo only real electricity production,i wont mention nuclear as for some pathetic reason in Australia its not pc.
But the university of Woolongong believes they have developed a competitive process to convert seawater into hydrogen using their own electrosis technology competitive with gas/coal to produce electricity? Again where is tls to provide the funding for such technology but also part ownership.?
Energy Australia is building a 300plus gas/hybrid power station in Woolongong production late 2023.
Listening to ,i forget her name the new tls ceo it reminded me of talking to my accountant.So successful T22 she says,and looking forward to T25 and cutting another $500m in costs.Yawn.
Again no talk about real profit growth or the 50% drop.Just she gets excited about 5g but no mention of any sector that would provide real 5g profit growth.
Some real solid partnerships are being formed requiring space connectivity and of course tls is not involved.
Tls has deep pockets but no idea of acquiring related sectors that provide real potential profit growth.
EOS acquires every opportunity in brilliant related sectors but no money to develop the proven technologies.
Anyway AGM getting close so lets see the eps and fcf figures.
Digicel will prove to be a dog,and a waste of $270m.
