It's all falling on deaf ears.
Regarding the so called fuel debacle, the B-737 in question departed with an appropriate fuel load. It was the holding approaching Perth that resulted in the crew estimating they would touch down with just under the required amount of reserves. ATC actually told them they'd have to declare a "fuel mayday" if they wanted any chance of a priority landing, which they did.
