I had to go get a new calculater as the old one didnt have enough zeros to work out the potential resource size from the laterite deposit
10,000 metres * 10,000 metres * 6 metres deep * SG2.7 = 1.6 billion tons
1.6 billion tons * $300 a ton = $486 billion potential inground resource
thats $486,000,000,000
Obviously the NPV is a better mesasure and there are no drill results yet to confirm depth, but the current market cap doesnt do the potental resource justice.
A project of that size could easily justify its own 500km rail ($1 billion ) and $500M port and the sweetner is it could essentially be mined as a low strip hematitie iron ore deposit but instead of getting $110 a ton FOB as for iron ore you are getting paid closer to $300 a ton, so a $250 a ton margin, over a $50 a ton production cost.
