Wouldn't it be more accurate to label trans men and trans women as 'trans wannabe-men' and 'trans wannabe-women'?

'Trans' is short for transition, and transition implies one is on the way to finally achieving the end goal, in this instance becoming a man, and woman, respectively.

But one cannot become a man, for example, until you possess the predominant characteristics of a man (e.g. male genitalia, male chromosomes), in addition to a suite of secondary characteristics (e.g Adam's apple, broad shoulders, facial hair). Surgery and hormonal treatments can only go so far.

It's silly to paint an apple orange, and call it an orange. It's just as silly to call it a trans orange, because it won't ever BE an orange, no matter how much it's dressed up to be. (The Law can call it whatever it wants, but the Law's sometimes an ass, so best to stick to the facts and what's rational).

As for Karavelas' assertion that trans people are tired of being the source of others' outrage, well, I say to the radical Left to set the example and stop with the outrage of calling a dressed-up apple an orange, able to produce O.J.
