IndraHe was dynamiting fish (to feed a starving village) when two sticks went off in his right hand, blowing it, his forearm and his canoe apart. He swam to shore pursued by crocodiles, walked a mile through the jungle to his truck, and drove 200 miles against the clock to a hospital.
