Have Indians taken more jobs than other Asians? I would love to see the breakdown on the figures. Wasnt it some other race that was mainly taking jobs in your meat industry, rabbitoh?
Sure, they say 100 Indians were assaulted in the last year. How many Asians, Aboriginals or Caucasians were set to in the same period? Could it be that Indians are just being given more publicity by the media? Caucasian Australians are being set upon daily - just a sick sign of the times. Note, nobody messes with the Lebanese & Somalians,in general, cause those guys "mess back" rather enthusiastically. Was served a beer or 2 ( :-)) ) on saturday by a pretty Irish girl backpacking around Australia. She commented that she had no problems anywhere, but noticed that Asians in general received nasty unsolicited comments from locals for just walking past. So racism does exist, undeniably, but I dont believe it is onesided, nor directed at one particular race. Yours truly has been called a "white so-and-so" just for the sin of walking past people of a certain ethnicity, also.
