A little late to respond JW but your point taken. A good one too. They own the best airport in the Southern Hemisphere and that's all they have to do. Travelling in and out out there quite regularly 2002 to 2006 was the only reason I went in for a few thou long term. Have not been disappointed.
Maybe they need to focus and buy a few tourist hotels around the immediate neighbourhood. Stick to the core business of looking after people arriving and leaving Sydney and maybe repeat the model elsewhere in OZ.
