Can't see this process taking too much longer, and, reading between the false propoganda put up for so long by a minority group, commonsense should prevail,
and finally we'll have a whole NEW employment boost,
value adding resource for local or export market,
amazing energy saving system - based on a 'hdro-scheme'!,
could kkep going, but have covered this before.

    Interesting. Define 'old-growth'?
Quote : "So what we're going to need to see is fundamental changes in Gunns' operations. In particular, we need to see immediate protection of Tasmania's special native forests, such as our rainforest and old growth forest."
Need to take this arguement to the Forestry Commission, who own the forest, not Gunns.
Besides, most of the 'special forests' ARE already locked up. We don't hear that, do we.
Besides, selectively placing the new pulp mill (with it's re-growth fed system) as a front; if the old growth and chipping - that heads o/seas with no value-adding, is THE issue, then deal with that seperately, imo.

    Anyhow, guess we'll know soon.
    Interest is sparking.

    Cheers :)
