There is no turning back for Hawsons project now. The resource upgrade today and the next upgrade in Sep-Oct is the final critical platform to launch this project to construction and production. All activities to secure finance, off-takes, JV partner are now in full swing.
LDA has an interest to push down sp because it serves their interest. The lower the 30-day average sp (from 12th July to 12th August) the lower they will pay for the 25mil shares issued to them. But they can only push it down to 10% above the minimum price HIO put to them. Lower than that minimum price does not serve them any further benefit. In other words, LDA can only try their best to push sp down to certain level, for example if the minimum price specified to them is 35c, LDA only benefit themselves by trying to bring down the 30-day average sp to 39c which they would pay HIO at 10% discount, and therefore effectively pay HIO around 35c which is the SPECIFIED MINIMUM PRICE. There is no point for them to try to bring the 30-day sp average to say 35c because they CANNOT get 10% discount and pay 32c because the SPECIFIED MINIMUM PRICE is 35c.
Talking shit when sp went down is easy. Having the gut to show up and talk shit when sp goes up is another thing.
The resource upgrade today is a huge positive in my book, doesn't matter how you try to spin it. We are all intelligent enough to understand it is a rock solid milestone.
When the news of a major JV partnership and off-take agreement drop, make sure you be man to show up and talk shit.
