This decision to cut loose Advangen Japan is an interesting one. Reason given is they made a loss in the '22 year and seem to think they will again next year. Just casting back over the 2020 & 2021 years (not to mention beforehand) ... the only segment to make a profit was JAPAN!

A material change was, of course, the resignation of the then CEO - Mr Koichiro Koike. Was the loss attributable to this? Apparently not - it was mainly due to conditions caused by the Coof!

So, on the above basis, that is, they were given the flick because dared to make a loss - why didn't they also get rid of the main two losers...The Aussie and Yankie segments (who have never made a profit but were also presumably affected by the Coof)?

I still think this company is just another toy for an investment company. The shampoo is a side hustle.
