No its not my only concern.
Its more his overall absentee management STYLE.
The chairman also publicly pulled him up about his unnecessarily lavish senior staff get togethers.
(Which I point out uses shareholder funds)
He chooses to mainly work from home.
And chooses not to attend important monthly senior staff committee meetings.
This in not the normal behaviour of CEOs of larger banks, and indeed most major public companies,
where they do attend these meetings.
And they do work in their head office.
For me …
Its not about him “ trusting his staff to work in his absence”
It sends out the message that he thinks he is
too important to attend.
Maybe he is super smart and has a very good business brain.
But a CEO should imo be more than that
He should be visible and up front.
THAT’S HIS JOB!

All I know.
If he was working for me …….he wouldn’t be.
