In our area the difference between Unleaded and diesel is between 50c to 58c.

The vast majority of Australian motorists drive petrol vehicles, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, with just 26 per cent of vehicles having diesel engines.

If I could find any stats on that I could bet that those 26% would do 3 to 4 times of road klms than petrol engines on average.
