You may be correct as I said I was not certain. I remember seeing companies in the past requesting back to back trading halts (2 x 2 days) from the outset, but I don't ever remember seeing a company request an extension to a trading halt.
No doubt the ann. will be out tomorrow anyway. 99% of the time the reason for suspension following a halt is because of a cap. raising and we know it ain't that.
