whats bad about esg - the pesimist view, page-4

I think it's a fair enough thread considering most informed comments (which are definitely NOT from me - IMHO I am possibly the least informed investor) on here are supportive of the company. AND I must say those comments contribute to what is the most interesting thread on this site (thanks to H and Yaq etc...)

Getting balanced opinions on a stock/company is what HC is all about.

For me there are onle 2 things that stand out:

1. Tend to overpromise and underdeliver.
2. Are ambiguous with the truth (e.g. our target is 1300 pj by 31/12/09 compared to 'we will use the data from 31/12/09). Politicians are not a great addition to the corporate structure unless they're influencing a policy decision. Further the EGM incident re OIP was a shocker.

That said I think the main issue at the moment is CSG stocks in general and the market looking for more commercial certainty.
