Yep. I agree.
The challenges for many include:
1. Not having the knowledge and skills to truly understand a company, products and markets.
2. Not being patient. Thinking you'll hit a quicker winner somewhere else.
3. Worrying about the share price instead of the company. Selling and swapping because of price movements rather than what the business is doing.
4. Some might not even research tax implications of their trades.
That said, its fun being master of your own destiny.
Like I tell my kids. Have as much fun as you can. Just don't screw up tomorrows fun today.
