WA's ban on U will turn very quickly if their economy starts going down the toilet. Iron Ore is just under 20% of the states gdp and sits at close to 60% of the states mining industry. China is pushing hard for alternative sources of not just iron ore but other resources. Guaranteed when the standard of living drops ideological stances like this will be turfed out the door.

Also when the U price sky rockets they will have to sit back and watch South Australia and NT raking in the $$$ from their deposits. I am sure they will happily take the cash if WA doesn't want it.
