Australian wheat prices likely to come under renewed downward pressure today, after U.S. wheat futures hit fresh 4-month lows as fund selling accelerated into the close of the session, also weighed down by USD strength. Chicago Board of Trade March wheat lost 18.25 cents, or 3.8%, to end at US$4.69/bushel, just above session low of US$4.68, its lowest price since Oct. 6. Once again, a weaker AUD will moderate wheat price decline, with AUD/USD last 0.8815, down from 0.8915 yesterday evening. ASX milling wheat deliverable NSW lost A$3 yesterday to settle at A$212/metric ton. (RCB)
