Thumbs up from me for that well balanced post Footmax.

We just had a cracker quarterly result when other companies are really struggling in the current climate.

What a lot of nonsense the wingers are carrying on with:

* the share price went up after Phill resigned.
* a Chairman doesn't control management the share holders do.
* the board has absolutely nothing to do with the running of the company thats managements roll.
* The roll of independant directors whether they be Chairman or not is to agree a strategic plan with management and get independant advice to support or refute any of managements objectives that require shareholder approval and advise shareholders of what that advice is before asking them to vote.
* the shareholders then cast their votes and VMT shareholders have almost unanimously supported management. Thats an obvious choice because our team are doing a great job in very difficult circumstances.

Sensible people who don't have a seat at the management table don't waste their time knocking on the boss's door to tell him where he is going wrong.

What a waste of time. If you are not happy with the boss quit and get another job or get qualified and get on the management team.
