No it's not similar or compatible.
AXE uses the electron spin in synthetic carbon nanospheres for its 2 state qubit. They have zeroed in on this as the best way to preserve quantum info for long enough times and integrate it into a single semiconductor chip. This can then be used in a variety of mobile devices.
This other company, (based on my quick scan), uses quantum dots to build quantum integrated circuits which use quantum dots for the flow of electrons within a circuit. So these are not built to integrate with existing semiconductor chip technology (which AXE is doing) and is aiming to build full stack computers.
