Good question reddeer, and this goes to a big reason why the 249D action had been initiated in the first place, the discount between the NPV and the current share price. We all know why the share price has been in the doldrums: lack of directors/management buying on market, EPA missteps and delays, delays and more delays. You can do your own share price calculations but market cap is what is really important due to negating actual shares on issue. I believe for the stage where we are at now we should have a market cap of AT LEAST $300 million, if not higher. The energy that GW will bring to the table is sorely needed, and a huge reason why I will be voting for him. Compare this to how tired and bored PB’s presentations are. JF does a good job presenting but we need someone that can really excite the market that this project will get into production and remove some of that disconnect. One thing to remember is that that there is most definitely going to have to be an element of equity to fund the project capex. What the SP is at FID is going to determine just how much dilution we suffer. We need it to be much higher than what it is now, and whilst I’m happy that the SP has doubled off recent lows, you gotta ask yourself why was it that low in the first place? As others have said about PB staying on in some capacity, I also said the same thing to GW. It really is incumbent upon PB to sit down with GW, recognise and acknowledge that there really does need to be some changes and negotiate an orderly transition. That would be in the best interest of TNG and in turn all shareholders.
