THE FIRST STOLEN GENERATION Not just the Aboriginals that were treated unfairly throughout our nations history. It's a pity the nation did not reflect on the fact that it was predominately the English & Irish who were the ORIGINAL STOLEN GENERATION & not the Aboriginals that we are forced to reflect. Governments keep talking about reflection, but yet conveniently don't want to discuss the ORIGINAL Stolen Generation, that were forcibly against their will loaded onto ships as convicts & sent to Australia's penal settlements Child convicts Children as young as 9 years were transported to Australia as convicts. 20% of the transported convicts were under 20 years. The age given on records is usually the only way to tell if a convict was a child. Although children arrived with adults on convict ships, vessels such as the Frances Charlotte with 139 children, and the Mandarin with boys from the Parkhurst prison, primarily transported convict children to Australia. Female convicts Over 24,000 women were transported to Australia as convicts. 12,500 of them were sent to Van Diemen's Land. Most women were first offenders, with their crimes related to poverty. A high percentage were single, yet many left children and family behind. About 2000 children travelled with their convict parents, entering institutions on arrival.VIDEO

No point bringing up facts like that. Remember, only people of colour are oppressed or had it hard. Same with the Barbary slave trade, all those European slaves had the time of their lives. People of colour seem to have a monopoly of being victims of slavery and victims in general/oppressed. They might want to check their ‘Black Power’ if that truly is the case (which it obviously isn’t)
