Hi redant -- Having worked in a Brokers Office many many years ago -that was correct then subject to the Seller and Buyer being different parties. The Broker gets 2 lots of Brokerage . But things do change
Should one wish to transfer (say) personally held shares from self to say another family member or super fund etc etc then the Market is not advised. Hence that would be referred as an 'Off Market Transfer'.
Also given that the XT was a large quantity it could - not sure without facts- trigger a report regarding a 'Change in Substantial Holding'.
