A magnificent six hours old Video of how Carlos Ramos is diligently visiting the Communities in their Salars. And specifically mentioning how they have six entities, at their technological counsel. And how they seek to build several DLE modular plants for DLE Extraction.
If you can somehow get caption translate on this video, that would be great. I am fluent in English and Spanish.
So fortunately I can understand this without issues. It's good news for us. Bolivia is going full on. And Lilac is sitting right at the technological counsel table, facilitating Bolvia's industrialization of their Lithium. He has visited several communities, and each one gets a pots, on their official Media Outlet, and these are recorded live and left for later watching. Excellent info. Lilac Solutions is specifically mentioned, in EVERY ONE of his presentations at EVERY ONE OF THESE DIFFERENT COMMUNITY VISITS, PER SALARS.
Important points I gathered from this presentation, that I'd like to point out to our brothers and sisters that do not or cannot fully translate this video. I READ AND WRITE AND SPEAK SPANISH FLUENTLY.
It seems that the INCENTIVE for each of the six chosen, is that EACH GETS TO EXTRACT THEIR OWN LITHIUM. Each enterprise of the SIX, will be able to CHOOSE WHERE TO SET UP IN ALL THREE OF THEIR SALARS-BOLIVIAN. It also seems that that each one will be responsible for building their own modular plant. AND IT ALSO SEEMS THAT EACH WILL INVEST TO BUILD THEIR OWN MODULAR PLANTS WITH GAURANTEES FROM THE BOLIVIAN GOVT THAT THE LITHIUM EXTRACTED WILL BE SOLD TO THEM AND NO ONE ELSE. (If the govt decides to assist, with financing, perhaps it will be with a loan.) THEY GET DIBS. THE EXTRACTOR GETS DIBS ON THE LITHIUM. AT BELOW MARKET PRICE OBVIOUSLY.
YLB, Carlos Ramos says they chose six, because they DO NOT WANT TO BE TIED TO ONE ENTERPRISE. THEY WANT THE SIX ENTERPRISES TO BASICALLY COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER, AND REALIZE THEY ARE NOT THE SOLE DLE EXTRACTOR, THAT THERE ARE FIVE MORE IN BOLIVIA. IF THEY CHOOSE ONE ENTERPRISE ONLY, BOLIVIA LOSES LEVERAGE AND IS TIED TO ONE ONLY, AS PER DLE EXTRACTION. Perhaps Bolivia, will end up buying up all six plants? Who knows.
BOLIVIA, THEY WILL STILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR PONDS, AN INFRASTRUCTURE THAT IS ALREADY BUILT, FROM A FEW YEARS BACK, WHICH GIVES THEM QUITE A BIT ANNUALLY, THAT IS FULLY THEIRS WITHOUT EXTERNAL INVESTMENT WHATSOEVER. BUT THEY WILL UTILIZE THE SIX ENTERPRISES CHOSEN, TO LEVERAGE THEMSELVES, ALL SIX WILL HAVE THEIR OWN SALAR TO WORK FROM, THE TURN AROUND RATE FOR LITHIUM WILL BE HOURS AND NOT MONTHS. ALL SIX WILL BE LEFT TO THEIR OWN TENEMENTS, LIKE A LANDLORD LEAVES HIS TENANTS ALONE. BUT BOLIVIA WILL ALWAYS OWN THE TENEMENTS, OR LITHIUM EXTRACTED. AND BOLIVIA WILL SECURE FUTURE CONTRACTS WITH ALL SIX ENTERPRISES AND ALL SIX ENTERPRISES WILL SECURE THE LITHIUM. APPARENTLY BOLIVIA WILL SELL BELOW MARKET TO ALL SIX, TO MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE.
What this means for us. It means we will have a very well funded partner, in Lilac Solutions. From their gauranteed below market Lithium they will extract. Despite them not owning per se the tenements, but they will have access to below market lithium, from highest concentrations of Lithium on planet Earth.
Second. Lilac's incentives to further Argentina is that Lake OFFERS Lilac PARTIAL OWNERSHIP, OF THE TENEMENTS, UNLIKE BOLIVIA.
Bolivia, will be a massive validation and massive billboard and advertisement worldwide, for out Technology.
If each enterprise has to front the bill in, for their plant, for Lilac, that is no issue, with people like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. Whom will readily BUY the Lithium that he needs for his massive EV truck fleet for Amazon, 100,000 that Rivian is set to build out.
Or perhaps the Bolivian Govt decides to front the bill for some modular plants, as a loan, etc. It doesn't matter. What matters is Bolivia's Lithium has been coveted by ALL since time immemorial, and we now have permission, via Lilac Solutions, to extract this Lithium.
Bolivia must be offering them all a very below market sweet deal. Lithium Extraction is what Bolivia is placing their bets on, and wants six enterprises to do it, so that Bolivia always has leverage over all six, and is not bound to any ONE enterprise, and it secures it's sale, of Lithium all at the same time. Pretty genius if you ask me. The contracts will be, supposedly perhaps for about 10 years at a time, according to Carlos. Market prices will dictate obviously the below market price all of them will get.
Wow, I finally understand what Bolivia will or plans to do. It might change, but this is what the Lithium President said, so it seems this is probably how it will turn out. He also says, they know they have to sweeten the pot for investment, because Argentina, only requires a 3% royalty fee, and leaves everyone alone. Bolivia, through it's dictate, OWNS the tenements, ALWAYS. And requires extraction, processing be under YLB. And it will do this via the manner explained. BUT he also said, that Argentinas Tenements, are not anywhere near as large as theirs. And keep in mind, Argentinas Lithium is nothing to scoff at as per what they have to offer. So Bolivia is in a category all on it's own. Perhaps through Lilac, Lake can get an opening to enter the Bolivian govt approved extractor as a partner to Lilac.
This is certainly not bad for us. This is why I have seen David on twitter of late vehemently defending Solar, vs Nuclear. I think he knows he will get lots and lots of Lithium he will turn around and sell. I hope this was helpful. If anyone is bilingual like me, make sure you watch the video.
Cheers.
