MELBOURNE, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Rio Tinto (RIO) has strong ties with its Chinese customers and is keen to meet them in person, the company's Australia head said on Friday.
"We have a good relationship with our customers and our shareholders," Rio Tinto Australia Chief Executive Officer Kellie Parker said at an industry event in Melbourne.
"We'd certainly like to meet them face to face when borders come down," she said, referring to customers and the company's top shareholder in China.
