lol. So now you have to try another tactic - although it’s a continuation of another habit you have - to attribute an emotion based on your opinion without having a clue of what’s going on in the other persons head
i can keep debating with you as long as you want. As long as you try to tell me I am somehow flawed in my thinking and use that to justify your position I am perfectly happy to respond.
now you can call that defensive. But I’d suggest you are projecting. Your arguments and reasoning is inconsistent. In fact it’s worse - you consistently dredge up yet another argument in what seems like a vain attempt to avoid considering other possibilities.
your latest in this post is yet another avoidance. I have never said I excuse anyone else’s behaviour. Maybe you need to go back and reread what I wrote. It is you who has wanted to move the topic from lidias behaviour to that of other politicians. That is not the topic of the thread and in my view it’s a poor excuse for her
I will therefore repeat the sentences you have avoided or misunderstood intentionally or otherwise
You can keep on finding ways to defend your views and ignore the obligations to the institution she chose to join. You can ignore as much as you like to explain it away, to accept petulant rebellion or downright rudeness.
but as far as I am concerned that makes your standards slippery, bestowed by grace and favour and because you have decided that it is excusable in this case because of her grievances you are also being paternalistic
I’d have expected that as a school principal you were very clear that there are standards of acceptable behaviour and, even if you give people a chance, if they continue to transgress you must draw the line for to do otherwise tells others that misbehaving is acceptable
