For instance, the XAO gained value for few months, then lost a lot of value during the last 10 days of Jan, then recovered for a couple of days (when many thought that the price started to go up again) and today it lost 2.4%! The current fall in SP is based on irrational fear, not on fundamentals/facts. In fact, most of comapnies results and economic news are quite positive!! Your comment makes a lot of sense for day trading/ short term speculating, but for meduim - long term investing i would buy at the current price without giving it much thought!
