Thank you for the information. While I accept your expertise from an engineering perspective, I will not stop applying kerosene to my masks due to any health concerns! I assess health measures using a risk-reward assessment, kerosene fumes are of much lower risk than wearing contaminated masks. After all, kerosene is a natural product, probably much safer than quaffing alcohol.
Based on your engineering expert advice I am considering alternative oils to apply to the masks to enhance their air filtering function. Your suggestions for gear oil, vegetable oil or olive oil are too bland and passé for my tastes.
What do you think if I was to dab some high strength CBD oil onto the masks, would it be compatible with the kerosene?
