It is not a good platform on friday I made several attempts to exit a trade and kept telling me "client invalid", I shut down firefox, cancelled the order and retried etc but still failed. Maybe should have emptied cookies, it did cross my mind but by this time I was fuming ended up using their stupid call centre which was a slow painful process.
This would be terrible in a day trading effort, I would prefer they revert to the old system until they fix the new one. There are a lot of beneifits to the new platform however executing trades is the most important.
I aslo do not like having to do the extra confirmations to sell which were not in the last platform. I will try clearing the cookies for future reference. I would consider changing brokers now however read so many complaints re comsec and etrade not sure if jumping from the saucepan and into the fire
