Not sure for any specific time, but in a general trend sense, it's an indicator to watch.
As an exercise over a long period compare the charts for the SP of say Woolworths and Lihir, look at the trends. I'm trying to see any correlation if any as they're both stable companies not subject to extreme SP swings due to extreme management announcements or real bad decisions.....You couldn't use Wesfarmers, they're not specifically staples.
