don't dismiss Eisenhower's role in agreeing to the terms of the Yalta Conference
one of the biggest mistake the US made......EVER......ended costing USA $BILLIONS......and 1000's of US lives lost......in the subsequent Cold War......and fighting multiple proxy wars against USSR-backed regimes
this should be THE lesson to be taught.......NEVER try and appease a dictator
