Examples of companies in the investopedia article that have their own dark pools include Credit Suisse's CrossFinder, Goldman Sachs’ Sigma X, Citibank’s Citi-Match, and Morgan Stanley’s MS Pool=== aka the usual suspects. Perhaps there is some 'covering' happening.
