Only proposing a spreadsheet of examples trades
To see where "ownership" vests via :-
1 Original purchases
2 Loan transactions
What seems odd is that 2 people can "own" the same shares for trading purposes.
Your logic sounds good ... but I would like to see the accounting entries by each party in your
multiple ownership scenario - not doubting - just interested in the accounting entries
and in the ledger account names
My apology ... just curious
