For those who are critical of where this small entity has carried itself to this position inside the last 5 years, place yourself in the position of management and assess what they have achieved:
- an established and now proven operational and management team
- equity in 40 odd producing wells established off less than limited cash
- 3 wells with major or majority working interest in one of the most prolific oil production areas in the US with the first well paid, the second close, and the third just starting and payback within 6 months… now all effectively fully operational
- leaders of the industry back into the “patch’ into premium oil territory introducing lateral drilling prospects
- money in the bank….. no debt
- a strategy going forward with 2 further wells coming this year and 4 next year…. The timing is theirs to determine
- proven reserves being substantiated ….. money in the bank
- land reservation/acquisition in play for expansion
There have been challenges like every business but you now have a company driven in my opinion by quality management and the results are being seen. ….
If the rub is that you don’t see a share price that you want…… sell and move on. Alternatively be smart and let the business move forward with a team who are clearly just now getting traction. You’re investing in an industry that is on the nose but remains a necessity. Recognise and accept that this is where you have chosen to invest your money.
It’s easy to criticise but a hell of a lot harder to achieve.
My view is that the business is well positioned both financially and strategically. It is providing tangible results, and will continue to develop……the share price will follow, and if you don’t believe this then this is not a platform for you to be investing in.
Critique the management as is your right, but don’t in my opinion criticise what has been achieved by this team,
