At the end of the day, exactly how long past "towards the end of July" is worthy of the company paying the ASX to provide an updated estimate is a judgement call that we each have to make. Renergen plans to have decade-long relationships with these customers and dropping them in it for the sake of a few days isn't likely to be good business.
I'm willing to bet that the major holders who have added since the Ivanhoe update have reached out to clarify a thing or two.
For me, I come from an industry (or perhaps a string of companies) where estimates are just that, and my investment experience has been the same. Excluding weekends and holidays that estimate has blown out by 6 days, which to me seems fine but we're all different.
