Other tanks (likely the whole tank farm) will either be directly or indirectly affected by the fire by the time the incident is controlled. Its just not a few tanks down, there is interconnecting piping system between the tanks. The loading & unloading facilities will have sustained some damaged too. This will be a energy crisis on top of the existing energy shortage in Cuba. It is very sad situation for the Cubans. It will take years (3 years min) to get the tank farm back to normal operations. Cuban government will quickly need to look at on shore options - Oil.
The JV exploration campaign will quickly become (if not already) an extremely important project for the Cuban government/people. Acceleration to production will be a hot topic at the moment.
