I would estimate the costs of having a small fleet of 4 aircraft would be considerable. Keeping them on the CASR Part121, Part42 and Part145 certificate may have been inefficient considering the revenue generated. The costs in administration, staff training, (pilots, engineers, administration staff, ) tooling, warehousing of parts etc would be considerable. And it appears they where only purchased because they where suitable for the runway at Olympic Dam. Now the runway in longer and wider, they can use the jets. Makes sense to me
