Wellington Power Station
Plans are well advanced for the establishment of a 640 megawatt open-cycle gas-fired power station near Dubbo in central western NSW.
The Wellington power station will use the best available technology to produce electricity efficiently and cleanly to help meet NSW's demand for electricity and contribute significantly to reducing the state's carbon emissions intensity.
Construction is expected to begin in 2011 with operation expected in 2012.

ERM Gas is active in the locations in Western Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales in the map below. In Western Australia, ERM Gas has an active exploration program. In New South Wales and Queensland, the company is involved in planning and delivering gas transmission infrastructure to deliver power from coal seam gas fields to ERM's power stations.

ERM Powers Wellington gas pipeline route feasibility process continues

ERM Power is looking to build an alternative gas pipeline to its proposed Wellington Power Station.
The alternative pipeline would come directly from Young instead of Alectown and ERMs land agents have been discussing the alignment with affected landowners.
Young is a major gas hub and a direct connection would secure supplies for the future development of the power station as well as providing the first link in an interstate gas pipeline to Queensland.
