You were right on the money Numis. Not much interest in EVS on a day
to day basis but there is a slow mopping up of EVS by Ellerston Capital
on behalf of undisclosed clients given they’ve again announced an increase
in holdings today. Why pay top dollar later when you can pick them up
relatively cheaply on the slow soak without forcing the price in the market
up too much? Looks like a pretty smart strategy whilst keeping the jack
firmly planted in the box. It’s a game of patience. Shorts are also slowly
being covered in an orderly fashion with minimum attention being brought
to that fact. Shorts are insuring themselves against any nasty unwanted
good news….
